Who we are

Founded in 1872, Reyer is today the first basketball reality in the Northeast and the only national reality to have a men's first team and a women's first team both in Serie A.

 Reyer is not only a sporting project but also a social and cultural one, to promote the aggregation of the territory of metropolitan Venice. A project that aims to recover those educational and training values that inspired its founders, Costantino Reyer and Pietro Gallo, and who made the name Reyer an example of style.

A rebirth project carried out with determination by Luigi Brugnaro who in 2006 took over the presidency of the company by reuniting, as it was originally, the male and female sections as well as giving life to a youth sector which in terms of structure and size can be said one of a kind.

Reyer is also involved in the social sector with a whole series of activities carried out in the area and is also the first professional sports club in Italy to have received the ESI Sports Ethics Certification: 2010.

Furthermore, through the direct management of the Taliercio Palasport, Reyer aims at a multifunctional use of the structure with the organization of side activities to sporting events, such as shows, concerts, conventions and more.
